NFC Google review displays on a counter

Shop by product

Everything has its own home now.

Plaques, stands, cards, social tags and menu tags — each in its own category, so your customers find what they came for in one click.

How it works

Three steps. About ten seconds.

1

Tap

The customer holds their phone near the plaque. The NFC chip fires a link straight to the screen — no app, no camera, no typing.

2

Review

Your Google review page opens with the star rating already loaded. They pick five stars and write a line while they are still with you.

3

Grow

More recent reviews push you up the local map pack, which is where most people pick a barber, a garage or a restaurant.

Fully customisable

Your logo. Your colours. Your wording.

Send us your logo and we design the plaque around your brand, then send a preview before anything goes to print. If it is not right, we change it — the preview is free and there is no limit on tweaks.

One plaque works. A plaque on the counter, a display at the bar and cards in your team's pockets works a lot harder.

Common questions

Before you order.

No. NFC is built into every iPhone from the XR onwards and effectively every Android made in the last decade. They hold the phone near the plaque and a notification appears — that is the whole interaction.
Every product we sell has a printed QR code alongside the NFC chip. If tapping does not work, the camera does. You are never relying on one method.
Never. You pay once for the hardware and it is yours. We do not charge per review, per scan or per month, and there is no account to keep topped up.
Yes. The NTAG215 chips are rewritable, so if you move premises or want to point at TripAdvisor instead of Google, get in touch and we will talk you through rewriting it.

Frequently asked questions

How it works

One tap between a happy customer and a 5-star review.

Every product we make does the same job: it removes the six steps between "that was great" and a review actually being written.

1

Send us your link

Your Google review link, plus your logo and colours if you are ordering a custom product.

2

We program and print

We write the link to the NFC chip, print a matching QR code, and email you a design preview to approve.

3

Put it on the counter

Customers tap their phone or scan. Your review page opens straight away — no app, no typing, no searching.

01

Tap works on every modern phone

Every iPhone from the XR onwards and effectively every Android reads NFC straight from the lock screen. Your customer holds their phone near the plaque and a notification appears.

  • No app to download
  • No Bluetooth pairing, no wifi needed
  • Nothing for your staff to set up each morning

02

The QR code is the safety net

Older handsets and locked-down work phones may not read NFC. Every product we print carries a QR code doing the exact same job, so nobody is ever stuck.

  • Printed on the same face, no second item to carry
  • Points at the identical review link
  • Works from any camera app

03

Change the link, keep the card

The chips are reprogrammable. If you move premises, rebrand, or want a card to point somewhere else entirely, the hardware you already own still works.

  • Point it at Google, Instagram, TikTok or your menu
  • No per-scan fee and no monthly account
  • We reprogram free within 12 months

Returns

Stock items — displays, review cards, social cards and menu tags — can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they are unused and in their original condition. You cover the return postage unless the item was faulty.

Custom printed items — plaques, stands and the custom part of a bundle — are made specifically for you and cannot be returned once you have approved the design preview. This is exactly why we never print anything before you have seen and approved it, and why changes at the preview stage are free and unlimited.

This does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty goods.

Reprogramming

If you move premises, rebrand, or simply want your hardware pointing somewhere else, send it back within 12 months of purchase and we will reprogram it free. You cover postage to us; we cover it back.

Starting a return

Email tapratedreviews@gmail.com with your order reference (it begins with TRR-) and a sentence about the problem. We will reply the same working day with what to do next.

Terms of sale

The terms that apply when you order from us. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

1. Who we are

TapRatedReviews sells NFC review plaques, stands, displays, cards and tags to businesses in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at tapratedreviews@gmail.com.

2. Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we email you to confirm we are producing it. We may decline an order — for example if a product is out of stock, we cannot produce the artwork to an acceptable standard, or the pricing was clearly wrong.

3. Prices and payment

4. Custom artwork

By uploading a logo or artwork you confirm you own it or have permission to use it, and you indemnify us against any claim that printing it infringes someone else's rights. We may decline to print anything unlawful, offensive, or which we believe you do not have the right to use.

We email a design preview before printing any custom item. Nothing is printed until you approve it. Once approved, that approval is what we produce, and the item is not returnable.

5. What the products do

Our products contain a programmable NFC chip and a printed QR code that open a web link you nominate. We do not control that destination. We are not responsible for changes Google or any other platform makes to their review process, their URLs, or their policies, nor for how many reviews you receive.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC. Google, the Google logo and Google Maps are trademarks of Google LLC.

6. Soliciting reviews

You are responsible for using our products in line with the review platform's own policies. Google in particular prohibits incentivised reviews and review gating. We supply hardware that makes leaving a review easier; how you use it is your responsibility.

7. Delivery and risk

Estimated dispatch times are given in good faith but are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

8. Cancellation and returns

Your cancellation and return rights are set out in full on our shipping and returns page, which forms part of these terms. In summary: stock items may be returned unused within 14 days; custom printed items cannot be returned once the design preview has been approved.

9. Our liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or lost goodwill.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Our legal basis

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years to meet UK accounting requirements. Artwork is kept for two years so reorders do not mean starting again. Contact form enquiries are kept for twelve months. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to retain.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your basket is stored in your browser's local storage so it survives a page refresh; it never leaves your device until you check out. Stripe sets its own cookies on the checkout page for fraud prevention.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to someone else. Email tapratedreviews@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.
